Algarve: a week of relaxation

Often we are last minute with our holidays but this one was exceptionally last minute. We booked the whole trip four days before leaving and considering the rash decision it was such a wonderfully relaxing break. We personally love a self catering holiday, for me, nothing beats staying in your bikini all evening instead of having to shower, choose an outfit and go in search of a restaurant.

We picked White Shell Beach Villas in Porches. The complex was beautiful and we adored our little one bedroom apartment. It has everything you could need, washing machine, dishwasher, beach towels, even a BBQ you can use. Although it is an apartment it felt like a hotel, we had the option of having it cleaned everyday, theres a big swimming pool and restaurants for every meal.

Apart from relaxing by the pool, reading and eating, we also hired a car to explore a little. Car hire was a breeze, we booked through Yor Car Faro. This meant we could easily get to the supermarket and also some local attractions. Our favourite beachs were,
