Ollie and I arrived as it opened eager to see some of the main attractions before it got swamped with the weekend crowds.We made a beeline for the palm house conservatory, taking the route through the Syon Vista directly in front of it. Every inch of the conservatory is filled with lush green plants, literally bursting through the roof. The building itself is just as picturesque with a grand white iron structure. Steeped in history and with bucketfuls of charm its a great place for a traditional afternoon tea.
