Skirt , Blouse, Shoes (Similar), Bag, Sunglasses

When the first signs of summer came along I had to break out my favourite white skirt from last year (worn here in my first ever blog post). With a relaxed and subtle sheen this floaty pleated skirt is flattering and looks great no matter what you wear it with. I’ve been pulling it out of my wardrobe time after time because of how effortless it is to match with any top. If head to toe florals are a little too much for you it’ll be the perfect staple addition.

As I write this Ollie and I are currently in the South of France, exploring the beautiful villages dotted around Provence. I am totally in love with this region and can’t wait to share what we have been getting up to. It’s hard to believe that this marks my one year of blogging, time has really flown. We have certainly evolved along the way and it’s still a huge learning process. But I wanted to take this chance to say a huge thank you to all of my readers and followers who have made it such a good year. We’ve been working on making some changes, possibly with some videos (don’t hold me to it, I still work full time in London and the world of youtube is still a little intimidating) which I am unbelievably excited about.

I’m not quite sure how a whole year has gone by but I am so glad we are back in summer as I love sharing some of our sunny travels with you all. I find them some of the most interesting blogs to read and they are my favourite memories to look back on.

Plus, how gorgeous is London in the sunshine? We’ve been lucky enough to have unusually warm days and I’ve been outside at any small chance of sunshine. On the top of my list for when the sun makes an appearance is wandering around my favourite neighbourhoods and grabbing a table outside a café to watch the world go by. You’ll know by now that Notting Hill and Holland Park come top of my list and this warm day was no exception.

I planned this outfit around the gorgeous summer breeze, my philosophy has always been to wear what makes you feel good. For me, personal style is about wearing what makes you feel confident and happy (or sometimes the first thing you can find before running out of the door). In the summer months that resembles a floaty skirt or dress, something sophisticated but cool and comfortable.

It’s been a long time since I shopped in New Look and to be honest it wasn’t a store that I kept an eye on but I found this blouse on ASOS and ordered it without even realising it was New Look. I had thought that I had grown out of their clothes but this piece is a little gem. I do love ASOS for just that reason, considering brands you might not have even considered. I paired the outfit with my new favourite summer bag from Isabelle Fox and my Gucci sunglasses.

Once again, a huge thank you for all the support, you really are the best x
