A while back now Ollie and I spent a spontaneous weekend away to Dorset. We were shooting a campaign for Fat Face and had planned the trip around visiting Durdle Door (which you can see in this post). We had the best day exploring the coast and totally lucked out on the weather.

We spent this day taking unrelated pictures for the blog, just being snap happy and capturing the moment. Gosh we take thousands of pictures and our love for our camera and photography has certainly grown but I don’t always end up posting them to Living My Style. I’ve noticed that I tend to blog when I feel either something significant has happened or there’s a stunning outfit I just have to share. I think I feel I want to have something interesting to write about or have lots to say but sometimes it’s just a beautiful sunset in a field. This is something which I am aiming to change, I want you to see more of the unseen photos, short snippets of my lifestyle and perhaps even sometimes the less glamorous sides of things.

So here is a collection of photos from our evening walk to dinner along the coast where we stumbled along this field of gold. The rapeseed fields were scattered everywhere amongst the countryside hills but we managed to catch this one just as the sun was going down. The lighting was gorgeous and everything turned a glowing orangey yellow, and of course if you wear fully white into a field of rapeseed you are going to come out yellow! Hope you enjoy x
