I had wanted to go to North Devon the whole trip but the fog that week was consistent (major grey days) and I kept putting it off. On the last day I decided to embrace the fog and head to the beach no matter what the weather and I am so glad I did. Having spent a lot of my childhood by the coast, moors and woodlands the brand is one I have grown up with. My mum introduced me to them, she used to beg me to get a Barbour jacket as my school coat and I always used to wonder what all the fuss was about. That is, until I had my own. I still have my first Barbour, its got that perfect weathered look (its now got holes in the lining and has been rewaxed many a time) and is by far the oldest coat that I still wear year after year. In fact I think its approaching 10 years old! Reliable, practical and a classic I will always have them in my wardrobe.
