That's a whole ten years of expectation and anticipation. Luckily, the Cotswolds was just as dreamy as I had imagined. Full of chocolate box houses framed by green landscapes.We had planned a full itinerary for the trip, which spanned most of the Cotswolds, from Chippenham to Stow-on-the-Wold. Our hotel, Lucknam Park was right in the South, almost on the outskirts of Bath. We chose to stay in this hotel for the duration of our stay and do day trips to make the most of relaxing and exploring at the same time. We planned to spend the afternoon fully enjoying all the hotel had to offer and with Michelin star dining and an award winning spa complex we were spoilt for choice.Having booked through Mr & Mrs Smith we were given a complementary afternoon tea for our stay and we chose to have it straight away. When we were shown to the drawing room I fell in love, opulent and elegant,  yet cosy enough to make you feel at home. afternoon tea than I expect. Once we finally mustered up the strength to leave the cosy inside we set off to explore the grounds. The main building is the pièce de résistance of the 500 acre estate, beautifully symmetrical to create the most magnificent setting.
